Niamh says ''Having worked in both EA and MENA, I am now very excited to have the opportunity to work in SSA, and be lucky enough to be posted in Mauritius. This is my first Country Director Role so I am looking forward to building on my Teaching Centre experience and widen my focus on Programmes, Education, Exams and Arts.''

Niamh is married and has two children – Oliver and Sophie.

The British Council aims to build opportunities that benefit people in Mauritius and the UK.  Niamh is keen to continue supporting relations between the UK and Mauritius, through strengthening British Council’s work here and developing stronger partnerships with Mauritian organisations and people.
