Projects Manager
The British Council in Mauritius has an indefinite contract opportunity for an experienced Projects Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of all education and arts project work in Mauritius in line with regional and country priorities. This will include supporting the Teaching Centre Academic Manager in activities where we may support improving the quality of English education in schools.

Role overview
The post holder will be accountable to the Country Director for the successful implementation of all project work and delivery to plan and targets. S/he will be responsible for managing projects within British Council Mauritius portfolio as well as innovating and developing new project initiatives. The successful candidate will also line manage of one or more part-time staff including responsibility to coordinate the submission of scorecard (monitoring and evaluation) returns.
Role Requirements:
- 1st Degree
- Previous project management experience ideally in education, arts or English language
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Professional writing and editing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
